Picture this.

This long sleeve leopard print crew neck pullover sweater can easily be dressed up or down and will be puuuuurfect all fall and winter. I’m so punny y’all.

A world where a professional stylist picks out clothes for you based on what you love. A stylist who also picks out pieces that are different than what you would normally select but that you end up loving because damn girl, you look good in them. This stylist mails these fabulous outfits directly to your door. You try them on and keep what you love and send back what you don’t. And because girl, you are busy, there’s an envelope inside with the shipping label already attached so all you have to do is put the clothes in the bag and mail it. You’re busy living your life/slaying that career/raising those babies/trying to have a social life/exercising/trying to drink enough water and sometimes we just don’t have the time or energy to go shopping. Not to mention the emotional stress clothes shopping can cause. Hell hath no fury like me, a 35 year old woman, in an Old Navy trying on two washes of the SAME SIZE jean only to find that one of them is too small. Jesus take the wheel, y’all. But since He’s got bigger fish to fry than my denim dilemma, Fashom is here to help!

This boat neckline modern sweatshirt can be worn now with shorts or with jeans as it cools down. Which, if you’re in Nashville, may never happen.

I’m extremely picky about who I partner with for sponsorships. I won’t ever work with someone whose business I don’t support, whose product/service I won’t use, etc. If you hear me talk about a product or service (sponsored or not), you can rest assured I stand behind it. When Fashom reached out to me a few weeks ago to invite me to a media event in Nashville, I was intrigued. After meeting Mitali, founder of Fashom, I knew this was a company I wanted to work with. I’ve seen the reviews of the ‘competitor’ boxes and the talks of how the clothes don’t fit or flatter most body types. I also know after countless talks with my friends, that clothes shopping can be extremely frustrating. Not to mention the fact that it often feels like once you’ve gotten out of your twenties, the fashion world forgets you exist. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times my friends sighed over a glass of wine and asked me, “Where do women over 30 shop?” Sometimes we can find things at places like Forever 21 or H&M or Target or some super cute boutique. But you’re left playing the guessing game with sizing, availability of the items and if the current trends flatter your body type. And if Mercury is in retrograde? Girl, you better just forget about it and come back next week. Or never.

This waffle cardigan is so comfortable I literally put it on during my unboxing video and I didn’t take it off so if that doesn’t tell you how great it is, I don’t know what to tell you.

Fashom is truly here to make shopping fun and to remind you that you deserve to wear gorgeous clothes because you, my love, are gorgeous. Exactly as you are. Fashom wants to dress the body you have, not the photoshopped bodies that don’t actually exist IRL. Fashom is here to help you bring your sexy back. So how does it work? You create an account online at www.fashom.com. You fill out a brief style and sizing profile. Be as thorough as possible because this helps your stylist find pieces you’re going to love. You can even submit Pinterest boards or social media accounts for inspo! There is a styling fee of $15 (though this is waived for your first box, so you can try Fashom risk free) that is applied to any items that you keep. After you submit your style profile, you wait a couple of days and an email will arrive in your inbox alerting you to log in to your account to view the seven items your stylist picked out for you as well as their notes about how you might style them. Pick your five favorites (or request to see more options) and have them shipped to your door. Once you receive your beautiful purple Fashom box, you have three days to try on the pieces and make your selections. Log on to your Fashom account and check out the items you wish to keep. Your styling fee will go towards your total and OH…..did I mention the discounts? Keep three or four items and receive a 25{482cacb9e52e391d14eb84afe9a6a5bbf087219df996b4c1a6eab78f6913768e} discount or keep all five and get 30{482cacb9e52e391d14eb84afe9a6a5bbf087219df996b4c1a6eab78f6913768e} off. Doing this very thing took my total from $190 to $130 for ALL FIVE ITEMS Y’ALL. Praise be. Send back anything you don’t want in the prepaid envelope provided and if you need to exchange an item, just shoot them an email and consider it handled!

Super sexy plunging neckline in the most gorgeous shade of blue you’ve ever seen? Check. Leopard print detailing? Check. Date night/girls night ready? Most def

My first box included a super cozy but chic leopard print sweater that could be dressed up with a skirt or slacks but that could also have a full on rocker vibe with some distressed black skinnies. There was also a sweet boat neckline sweatshirt with buttons across one shoulder for  those chilly fall evenings, a boho oversized waffle cardigan, a sexy blue top with leopard print details that’s perfect for date night, and a flowy floral tank that will get me through the end of this never ending summer and carry me right into fall. With Fashom, you aren’t relying on algorithms to style you. You’re getting a real stylist who takes the time to get to know you, your likes and dislikes, and body type. I got to meet my stylist in person at the Fashom event in Nashville. Her name is Kristin and her style is impeccable. I could tell that she listened to what I liked but she also picked a couple of items I would probably not have picked at the store. So not only am I getting clothes I love, but it’s opening my eyes to all new things and broadening my horizons and my wardrobe.

Fashom is all about body positivity, inclusivity, fashion on a budget, and giving back. For each box sent, they donate $1 to Second Chance Rescue NYC Dogs. I’m a fur mom to three adorable rescue dogs (and if you’ve been following my Instagram stories, three crazy cats, but that’s another story for another day) so this gesture means a lot. Truthfully, my Fashom experience was just plain fun. Because they waive your first time try on fee, I encourage you to give it a shot and see what Fashom can do for you. Now if someone could just come help me fold this laundry, that would be great.
